Pauls Valley

Twelve downtown blocks of this proud Oklahoma town are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Settled by Smith Paul in 1857, this Main Street community also lays claims to having more brick streets than any other town in the continental United States—17,986 square yards! Next to the new Amtrak station is the city’s Santa Fe Depot Museum, featuring an engine and caboose railroad car. Pauls Valley also serves as home to the world famous Field’s Pecan Pies, rodeo & sports arenas, a waterfall rose garden

and Stark Art, the studio/personal collection of hometown artist Kevin Stark, famous for designing toys for Steven Spielberg and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Pauls Valley’s Toy & Action Figure Museum was named Outstanding New Attraction in the state, the highest honor given in the Oklahoma tourism industry. For more information, go to: Pauls Valley.
